Happy Friday to you!
Welcome to a new month and a new beginning! It's time to reenergize and work diligently towards the achievement of goals that you established at the start of the year. Don't become too settled because of your present triumphs. Neither, let the obstacles that you have faced this year deter you from pressing on. If you came into this year with a desire to be a more forgiving person, keep working at it. Remember this: when you set your mind and your heart to become better at something, you'll face a lot of opposition in that specific area. For instance, if you struggle with alcohol consumption, you might notice that you're always getting invited to work events that are really booze fests. Or, if you struggle with pride, you may encounter many situations that call you to be vulnerable. Instead of letting these challenges break you down, allow them to strengthen you. If you are allowed to bring a plus one to the work event, invite an accountability partner that will help you stay dry. If you’re in need of help, be willing to trust the quality people that God brings into your life. Never lose heart. Always believe that you will be victorious.
One of the best ways to align yourself for success is to study the book of Proverbs. Today is May 1, so start with Proverbs 1. Since there are 31 chapters, you will be able to read one chapter every day. Meditate on each chapter. Reread them, rehearse them, keep them in your heart. As I said previously, you may be tested along the way. However, if you receive the wisdom and instruction of each chapter, every area of your life will be blessed. Your relationships will grow stronger, your health will improve, your finances will get in order, and you will have peace within.
Let me help you. Here is the link to Proverbs 1. Be sure to read and meditate on the scripture throughout the day. Pray and ask God to help you understand what it means and how you can live out the words written in the chapter. Until we meet again,
