Relax

Happy Monday to you!

I hope you enjoyed your weekend! How was it? Let me know via this post or via the e-mail address on my ‘Behind the Scenes’ page because I love reading each and every comment. For me, the past two days have been filled with rest and a lot of reflection. As a result, I want to share an important message in this post. And here it is:

RELAX!!!!!!!!!

For as long as you are alive, there will be something to do. A task to complete. A goal to accomplish. A dream to actualize. (Unfortunately) if you are not careful, you will become wrapped up in the wrong perspective. Either you will become strangled by the difficulty of the process or overwhelmed by the opinions of others. You will keep yourself up at night competing with others in your realm. Guess what? I applaud your passion and your drive. Keep those characteristics!

But lose that perspective!

It is completely unhealthy to live that way. You will lengthen your journey trying to force your way into success. God created you with purpose, not only gifts and talents. There is a reason why you are here. Furthermore, there is a set time for the fulfillment of God’s plan for your life. Rushing the journey will bring you unnecessary stress and sorrow. Rushing the journey can make you psychologically and physiologically ill. So,

RELAX!!!!!!!!!

Turn off your social media for a day. Leave your blog for a moment. Stop analyzing statistics. Do not worry about the person in your department who received the promotion you wanted. Do not be envious of the person your age who has attained a grand level of success. Stop crying because you are single, and everyone that you know is getting married and having children. Your life's worth is not the measure of other people’s occurrences. Pray to God for the strength and the willingness to carry out His plan for your life. Pray to God for His presence to be with you everywhere you go. Ask for His approval and His guidance. No, the world does not promote this model; nevertheless, this blueprint is the only one that provides reward at each step of the journey. The reward of God’s love, support, and favor. The reward of blessings in this life and in the life to come. The reward of protection and counsel and comfort. If you do not understand this post. Come back to it over and over again. One day, it will all make sense.

Love,
